What the hell is this?
Come join other women, ladies, femmes, pool goddesses (WLFPGs) who like to play pool! These events are geared towards WLFPGs who want to play pool with other WLFPGs or want to learn how to play in a safe space. All skill levels are welcome! Oh yeah, this is in Seattle.
Who the hell are you?
My name is Stefanie! I live in Seattle and I've played pool for some several years or so. I decided to start organizing this night as a way to support and meet other women and femmes who also like to play or are interested in learning. I've been lucky enough to host these nights in the winter time (rain time) for a while now. I'm also incredibly lucky to have a core group of WLFPGs who like to join, and I'm hoping you'll meet them along the way.
When the hell does this happen?
Once a month between September to April! The monthly nights are open to WLFPGs and are all for fun. In the FUTURE I might host a tournament or two. And our venue is open to hosting a clinic or two. I dunno. Keep emailing me to bug me about them and I'll make them happen. The best way to know is to join our email list (and eventually follow us on IG when I get my shit together).
I'm new/not in a league/wanna learn, can I come?
YESSSSSS!!!! All skill levels are welcome! You don't need to be a part of a league! This isn't a tournament! If you want to come play, come play. If you want to work on skills, come ask questions and our community can help you with some technique and stuff. If you want to hang and complain about that random guy who tried to "teach you how to play", you will be in good company. If you want to just meet other people, we will welcome you with open...brooms?
Are you actual witches?
Absolutely not. It's just a cool name and I loved the logo when I made my scribbled doodle version of it.
I identify as a man, can I come?
No. Those that identify or present as men will not be rotated into the Witches With Cues evening for pool playing. Thanks for respecting our space!
